Ryan is enjoying the MTC. He said learning Kamir (language of Cambodia) is very difficult but he is determined and making great progress. This is from his last letter home- " I bore my testimony at the testimony metting, and I was first because Elder Pearson challenged me to be first, and i always hate bearing my testimony, but I gave the greatest testimony of my entire life, it was so sincere and the spirit was so strong and I really do know now that i have a testimony. I know this church is true, I know that I am a child of God and that he loves me more than I could ever comprehend, I know that he sent his Son to this Earth to die for us so that we could return to live with God.The Savior went through unimaginable trial and pain, all because he loves us. He asks for almost nothing in return, he asks for an inch and gives us a mile. I'd like to challenge all of you reading this letter to pray to know that God loves you, but mostly that Jesus Christ loves you, I would challenge you to simply give a brief moment every morning to give a small thought about the Savior, even for a couple seconds, and I know you will feel the blessings that I have felt, I promise that you will feel the blessings of remembering your Savior ever morning, whose grace, mercy, and love allows us to return to our Father in Heaven. I love you so very much family and I think of you always, my krom kruasaa is always in my prayers. Love, Elder Rucker
